Blair Thomas Scheduled to Speak at Chapter Annual Dinner April 22

The annual Delaware County Chapter dinner will be held at McCall's Golf and Country Club (www.mccallgolf.com) this year. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 22. Blair Thomas will address the Chapter. The popular silent auction will continue through the evening, and election of officers will be held. Tickets are $35. and are available on this website store or by mailing a check to Delaware County Chapter PSAA, PO Box 14, Clifton Heights, PA 19018. We hope to see you there!

The Chester County Chapter has Orchestra seats reserved for this Philly Pops season finale concert. Along with great songs by Paul Simon, James Taylor, Carole King and Bob Dylan sung by Oscar winner Maureen McGovern, they also have an optional FREE tour of the Kimmel Center.

Bus Trip to Blue White Game on April 24th

The Chapter, in conjunction with the Campus Constituent Society is planning a bus trip to the Blue White Game. The Spring football game will be held on Saturday, April 24. An autograph session preceeds the 2PM kickoff. Admission to the game and autograph session is free and a carnival is held near the stadium with an assortment of rides and carnival food stands.

STUDENTS MOBILIZE TO AID VICTIMS OF HAITI'S EARTHQUAKE

Five American dollars, the equivalent of 200 Haitian gourdes, can buy more than 16,500 milliliters, or 66 eight-ounce glasses, of water in Haiti, according to information found in an MSN South Africa news article. This staggering figure inspired Penn State Brandywine students to mobilize in the name of Cinq, a campus organization created within days of the 7.0 earthquake that devastated the country. The word itself means "five" in Creole, the language used by most Haitians.

THON STUDENTS VISIT DELAWARE COUNTY

If you were out and about the weekend of January 22, chances are, you saw energetic Penn State students at many of the intersections that you passed. THON is the largest student run charitable event in the nation. As the cans and signs worn by the students proclaim, they are "helping children with cancer".
