We have four football ticket packages for the 2010 season. Each package has two tickets and one yellow parking pass. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. We will keep them available on this site until 10 days before game day. GO LIONS!!!

Field Hockey at West Chester and Temple

The Penn State Women's Field Hockey team will play at Temple on Saturday, September 18 and at West Chester University on Sunday, September 19 at Noon. If you are not travelling to the Kent State game, get a Penn State experience close to home!

Chapter Meeting Sept 7 at Brandywine Campus

The next Delaware County Chapter meeting will be held at the Brandywine Campus cafeteria at 7PM on Tuesday, September 7th. All local alumni are welcome to join in the meetings. Remember that the Chapter is for all Alumni living in Delaware County regardless of Campus attended. The Brandywine Campus also has a Constituents Society for alumni who attended that Campus. We are fortunate to use the facilities of the local Campus to hold most of our meetings.

Shop for a cause

Get an early start on the holidays and help the Chapter's scholarship fund at the same time. Macy's department stores are offering 10 and 20 percent discounts on October 16 to all shoppers with a SHOP FOR A CAUSE ticket. The Chapter scholarship fund will benefit with the entire $5 cost for the ticket. Purchase tickets at all Fall events for $5. or here on the website for $5 plus postage. We will gladly mail your tickets. Then enjoy a day at any Macy's store or online with special offers and know that you are supporting Penn State too!

Homecoming bus trip

The Chapter is now taking reservations for the annual Homecoming bus trip on October 9th. There are 44 bus and ticket packages. The few bus only seats have sold out already. Prices are $125 for Chapter members (dues paid) and $135 for non-members. The check out function will deduct the $10 savings for members. The bus will depart the Brandywine Campus parking lot at 6AM. A box lunch is included. All reservations must be made on this web site in the "store" on the left. Reserve today as there has been much interest in this trip.

Colonial Plantation Ghost Tour

Join is for a Ghost Tour at the Colonial Plantation at Ridley Creek State Park. The Plantation is the site of our annual day of service and offers a wide array of activities during the year. The tour includes stories from the history of the Plantation told by guides in period costume. Save the date October 22 for some Halloween fun!

Bye Week Added to Conference Schedules Starting in 2010

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Big Ten Conference has implemented a bye week, starting with the 2010 football season, which will give every team one week off during the eight-game league schedule.

Membership Dues

$20.00

Chapter membership dues are payable now.  Membership covers the 2010-2011 Delaware County Chapter membership year, which runs from July to the end of June each year. Dues are $20 for an individual and $25 for a family of Penn Staters.
